As a first step to prepare our puff pastry rolls with ham, we work the ricotta well together with the sage, previously washed and chopped, and the egg. Let’s adjust, then, with salt and pepper. We mix everything until obtaining a homogeneous cream.
Then we roll out the puff pastry in a thin way; then distribute the ricotta cream evenly leaving about 2 cm of empty space along the perimeter of the pastry.
We place the slices of ham on the ricotta layer and try to form a roll, folding two sides inwards and rolling it starting from one left side.
Cut the roll into slices about one and a half centimeters thick to obtain the puff pastry rolls with ham.
To cook our swivels, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
