First of all, to prepare the wraps, combine the flour, salt, lard and baking soda in a bowl. We mix everything by adding the water slowly, we continue to work the dough on a work surface until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. We then form a ball and let it rest covered for about 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, we resume the dough, form a sort of sausage and divide it into 6 portions all of the same weight. We form smooth and uniform balls and let them rest covered for another thirty minutes.

After the resting time, roll the balls with a rolling pin on a lightly floured work surface until a thickness of about 2-3 millimeters is obtained. We take a pastry cutter and make circles of 22 cm.

Finally, cook the wraps first on one side for about 2 minutes, rotating them continuously, and another 2 minutes on the other side until they are slightly golden.

Our wraps are now ready to be served.
